Portfolio of Professional Practice

 

Introduction and Purpose

 

 

"Teachers share a significant responsibility in preparing young people to lead successful and productive lives" (Education Services Australia, 2012).

 

This digital porftolio was developed to demonstrate my growth as a teacher, and share my understanding and implementation of the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) standards. As my degree is coming to a close, I would like to make known my evolving skills, knowledge and understandings by escorting you through my personal experience as a teacher in both early childhood and primary contexts.

 

Throughout this digital portfolio, you will explore my qualifications and teaching experiences, and will also gain a detailed insight into my skills, knowledge and understandings of four quality standards (standard 2, standard 4, standard 5, standard 7). Pictures of my teaching experiences and other evidence will be illustrated to verify my proficiency of the AITSL standards.
